APPS is a school like no other. The charming buildings, stately oaks and warm friendly atmosphere define APPS as a place that feels like home. With its proud heritage and unique approach to providing a well rounded education, we can confidently say that a grounding received at APPS is priceless.

We recognise that in a competitive world we need to continually improve the school’s facilities and teaching environment. We now have an exciting opportunity to enhance the APPS offering. 

In 2010 two properties adjoining the school were purchased.  After much investigation, a three phase building project is underway:
•    Renovation of one of the purchased properties into a new music centre 
•    Improvements to area around the existing hall and administration block
•    A new school hall and library extension

APPSAHEAD FUNDRASING INITIATIVE

It’s estimated that the costs of all phases will amount to R6 million.
This will be funded partly by the school (R3 million), but we are aiming to raise the balance from the wider APPS community. APPSAHEAD is our initiative to manage the fund raising process.

Our appeal to you is for your financial support. By pulling together we are optimistic that we will reach our target. Please consider making a contribution.       

MAKE YOUR PLEDGE

There are a number of options available for you to make a contribution to APPSAHEAD:
•    The purchase of an 'oak leaf' for R2 000
•    A pledge of your school deposit (see amounts below)
•    A cash donation. A donor contributing R25 000 or more will qualify as a Gold Donor

Please note that debit order options are available.

We recognise that the cost of the project is daunting. However we’d like to point out that the current deposit base is approximately R3.1 million. We hope to make a significant dent in the target through parents pledging their deposits.

All contributions of R2 000 or more will entitle you to an 'oak leaf' bearing the name of your daughter or family. These will become a beautiful, permanent fixture of the school. In addition, those who pledge Deposits and Gold Donors will be recognized in separate, distinctive ways.
