grade6_09The Grade Six sales have got off to an excellent start this term and we are well on track with our fundraising efforts for the Leavers Party. We have also taken advantage of Football Friday and we are selling anything green, yellow or gold that is edible. Our Mothers Day sale was a huge success, as was our raffle. Well done to Toni-Anne Black’s Granny who won the raffle and Mr. Christodoulou, who was our runner up. The girls are always so enthusiastic and all love working towards this common goal!
We are all frantically knitting squares for the Mini Council initiative.  We are also collecting aluminium and soup, all for a good cause.
After the excitement of Alice
in Wonderland, we leave to go on tour at the beginning of June for three nights. We are going to Lapalala Wilderness and are looking forward to an exciting adventure!
We have entered two poetry competitions this term and were particularly inspired by the recent fossil find in the Cradle of Mankind. Hopefully the judges will like some of the names which we have given Australopithecus Sediba.
We are looking forward to Soccer Saturday on 05 June and cannot wait for the holidays and the start of the World Cup in our very own
South Africa!
