For Grade One to Seven girls there is a summer and winter uniform. Uniform rules are strict and full school uniform must be worn at all times.
The APPS dress code includes a clean dress or jibba with an APPS badge, navy or white underwear and a hat which is to be worn on outings and when pupils are outside during break time.
Recommended dress length is 5cm above the floor when kneeling
(All items of clothing (including underwear) must be clearly marked)
Summer:
Dress: Regulation school dress with badge (compulsory); to be worn 5cm from the ground, when kneeling
Underwear: Navy blue panties and white school panties
Cardigan: Bottle green V-neck button down cardigan with badge (optional)
Pullover: Bottle green V-neck pullover with badge
Hat: Regulation school hat. Hats must be available every day to be worn outdoors
Socks: White, ankle socks
Shoes: Brown shoes
Raincoat: APPS Navy blue raincoat or bottle green Dri-mac
Track Suit: Regulation track suit
Winter:
Jibbah: Regulation school tunic; to be worn 5cm from the ground, when kneeling
Blouse: Regulation school blouse
Underwear: Navy blue panties and white school panties
Hat: As for summer
Socks: Royal blue knee length sock or navy blue tights
Shoes: Brown shoes
Track Suit: Regulation track suit
Blazer: Regulation blazer (not compulsory)
The APPS regulation track suit may be worn in place of the summer and winter school uniform if the temperature is 17° C or below.
Hair, Accessories and Jewellery:
Hairstyles: Shoulder length hair and longer hair must be tied up. No elaborate hair styles or dying of hair is permitted.
Alice bands: Brown, navy, green, APPS regulatory.
Small clips: Brown – no butterfly & banana clips.
Elastics: Brown, navy, green.
Scrunchies: Brown, navy, green, APPS regulatory.
Necklaces: Gold/silver chain with crucifix worn under clothing.
(Other religious symbols at discretion of Head).
Earrings: Gold/silver studs or sleepers only (for safety).
Watches: Girls may wear once they can tell the time.
Make up: No make up, including coloured lip balm, is permitted.

Senior (Grades 4 to 7): APPS sport shirt and APPS shorts or APPS skort

White takkies; white ankle socks

Swimming: Team costumes are available from McCullagh & Bothwell; green team cap is distributed by swimming coach; APPS swimming towel; APPS track suit
