COMMUNICATION
Notices:
are usually sent out on a Tuesday, but this may vary from time to time.  If a reply slip is attached to the notice please tear this off and send your reply back to school by the requested date.

School newsletters:
are placed on the school’s website: www.apps.co.za.  Hard copies may be requested from the office.

Messages:
are given to the children directly to help them learn responsibility.

Notice boards:
are updated regularly and the sports notice board outlines details of extra mural activities when relevant.

Calendars and extra mural schedules:
are given out at the beginning of each term. Please keep them in a safe place as it gives details of all school and extra mural activities for the term.

Homework diaries:
can be used as a communication tool between class teachers and parents.

Should you have concerns you wish to discuss with a teacher, please make an appointment to meet with her. Appointments with the Deputy Headmistress or Headmistress should be made through the school office.  Your daughter’s class or learning area specialist teacher should always be approached first, rather than the Headmistress.
